Checked 19 October 2026 · NEET 2027 and 2028 batches
South Delhi has two coaching clusters, South Extension and Kalu Sarai, and every institute in them sells a different thing. This page puts their addresses, published fees, batch sizes and scholarship tests side by side, says which figures are official and which come from listing sites, and ends with the five questions to ask before you pay. Cerebrum Biology Academy publishes it and teaches biology only; that is stated wherever it matters.
South Extension Part 1 holds Aakash's medical, engineering and foundation wings and Prerna Education. South Extension Part 2 holds Cerebrum's flagship, a few hundred metres from the Aakash medical wing. Kalu Sarai, beside IIT Delhi and Hauz Khas Metro, holds PW Vidyapeeth. Allen, the other national chain, lists no South Delhi address on its own pages as of 19 October 2026.
Smaller institutes that also appear in South Delhi listings:
Chain fees and batch sizes are what listing sites and the institutes' own pages showed on 19 October 2026. They change every session and exclude GST and material unless stated. Treat them as a starting point for the written quote you should ask for.
| Criterion | Aakash | Allen | PW Vidyapeeth | Prerna Education | Cerebrum Biology Academy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Subjects | Physics, Chemistry, Biology (plus JEE and foundation wings) | Physics, Chemistry, Biology | Physics, Chemistry, Biology | Physics, Chemistry, Biology | Biology only, for NEET, boards and olympiads |

Also Lajpat Nagar, Jasola Vihar and Vasant Kunj Sector A. | No South Delhi address on Allen’s own Delhi pages as of the date checked. Listing sites place its Delhi head office in Janakpuri with other centres across the city, none in the south. | Kalu Sarai, Plot 58/1 near Hauz Khas Metro gate 4 (Yellow and Magenta Lines). Class 11, Class 12 and dropper batches. | South Extension Part 1. Operating for about fifteen years. | D 35 South Extension Part 2, a 5-minute walk from South Extension Metro (Pink Line). Our Green Park centre has shifted there; from Green Park take the Yellow Line to INA and one Pink Line stop to South Extension. |
| Published fee signal | Two-year Class 11 classroom course reported at ₹3.5 to 4.7 lakh at Delhi centres; one-year Class 12 about ₹1.9 lakh. Listing-site figures, not an official rate card. | Class 11 classroom reported at ₹1.7 to 2.6 lakh per year; a Class 12 online course about ₹80,000. Listing-site figures. | Two-year Class 11 about ₹1.7 lakh, Class 12 and dropper about ₹80,000, with a ₹5,000 seat-booking amount. Receipts quoted by listing sites; PW says fees vary by course and material. | Two-year NEET programme ₹2,24,200 including GST, on its own website. | ₹40,000 - ₹1,80,000/year by tier, published on the fees page. |

PW calls them "optimised" and promises a named mentor per student. | Not published. | 6-10 students in Pinnacle, up to 25 in our entry tier; the tier sizes are 6-10, 12-16 and 20-25. |
| Scholarship test | ANTHE, with waivers advertised up to 100%. | ASAT. | PWSAT, with concessions advertised up to 90%. | Not published. | Fee tiers rather than a scholarship exam; ask about merit waivers at the demo. |
| Online option | Aakash Digital and iTutor programmes. | Allen Digital live and recorded courses. | PW app batches at a fraction of the classroom fee. | Not a core offer. | Live online for every programme, plus a hybrid mode with weekend sessions at a centre. |
| Suits | Families who want all three subjects under one roof, a long result history and a centre within walking distance of South Extension. | Students set on the Kota-style system who can commute west or prefer the online programme. | Budget-conscious families and droppers who want a structured PCB classroom near Hauz Khas. | Families who want a single-centre South Extension institute with a long local presence; read recent reviews on faculty first. | Students whose biology needs to carry the 360 marks, families who want a batch small enough for the teacher to know every student, and anyone already at a chain whose biology is lagging. |
Ask for the number of students in the specific batch you would join, in writing. Brochure phrases like "small batches" and "optimised batches" are not a number.
Biology is 90 of 180 questions. Ask which teacher takes your batch for botany and zoology, their qualification, and whether the demo is with that teacher or a star faculty member you will not see again.
After NEET 2026, when three institutes each claimed the same All India Rank 1, topper posters prove little. Ask for masked NTA scorecards of students from the centre you are joining, not national tallies.
Get the total with GST, study material, test series and any "seat booking" amount, and the refund terms if you leave after the first month.
South Extension sits on the Pink Line; Kalu Sarai sits at Hauz Khas on the Yellow and Magenta Lines. Walk the route at the hour you would travel.
A full-subject institute makes sense. Compare Aakash South Extension, PW Vidyapeeth Kalu Sarai and Prerna on the five checks above, and sit a demo biology class at each.
A biology specialist with a small batch gives you more of the teacher per hour. Cerebrum is built for this; see the South Delhi programme page.
NEET biology coaching in South DelhiKeep the institute for physics and chemistry and add a weekend biology batch. Both complement pages explain how the timetable fits.
Complement Aakash with Cerebrum biologyPW’s dropper batch sets the price floor at about ₹80,000. Compare it with a biology-first dropper year that fixes the subject most droppers lose marks in.
NEET 2027 dropper programmeCerebrum Biology Academy does not teach physics or chemistry. It teaches biology for NEET, boards and olympiads, founded in 2014 by Dr. Shekhar C. Singh, an AIIMS New Delhi alumnus, with 15,000+ students taught since then and a 98% NEET qualification rate among students who complete the programme. Its Google profile shows 5.0/5 across 38 reviews. Batches run 6-10 students in Pinnacle, up to 25 in our entry tier. Fees are ₹40,000 - ₹1,80,000/year by tier.
There is no single answer. Aakash has the densest presence with three wings in South Extension Part 1 plus Lajpat Nagar, Jasola and Vasant Kunj. PW Vidyapeeth in Kalu Sarai is the lowest published classroom fee among the chains. Prerna is a long-running single-centre institute in South Extension. Cerebrum Biology Academy teaches biology only, in batches of 6 to 25 by tier, from South Extension Part 2. Pick by subject need, batch size and commute, then verify each claim at a demo.
As of 19 October 2026, Allen’s own Delhi pages list no South Delhi address. Listing sites place its Delhi head office in Janakpuri. South Delhi students generally use Allen’s online programmes or travel to a centre elsewhere in the city.
Published and reported figures for the 2026-27 session: Aakash two-year Class 11 classroom ₹3.5 to 4.7 lakh at Delhi centres; Allen Class 11 classroom ₹1.7 to 2.6 lakh per year; PW Vidyapeeth two-year ₹1.7 lakh and dropper about ₹80,000; Prerna two-year ₹2,24,200 including GST; Cerebrum biology-only ₹40,000 to ₹1,80,000 per year by tier. Chain figures come from listing sites and change each session, so confirm in writing.
It remains the densest belt, next to IIT Delhi and Hauz Khas Metro, and PW Vidyapeeth runs its South Delhi centre there. South Extension Part 1 and Part 2 now hold a second cluster with Aakash, Prerna and Cerebrum within a few hundred metres of each other.
Yes. Many South Delhi students keep a full-subject institute for physics and chemistry and take biology in a small weekend or evening batch at Cerebrum. The complement pages for Aakash and Allen students explain the timetable.
Ask for the number in writing. Chains report 30 to 45 per classroom batch for Aakash and do not publish figures for Allen or PW; comparison sites describe Allen batches in the hundreds. Cerebrum publishes its tiers: 6-10, 12-16 and 20-25. Smaller is only better if the teacher uses it to check every student’s work.
The NTA cancelled the 3 May 2026 paper on 12 May after a leak traced to a printing press and re-held the exam on 21 June for about 22.79 lakh candidates. Several institutes then claimed the same top ranks. For NEET 2027 the practical lesson is to judge an institute by the students in your own batch, not by national topper lists.
