Berlin Brandenburg International School (BBIS) was founded in 1990, shortly after German reunification, on a lakeside campus in Kleinmachnow / Kladow, southwest of Berlin. BBIS enrols approximately 700 students from 70+ countries — one of the most nationally diverse IB schools in Europe.
BBIS offers IB Biology at both HL and SL. The school's smaller cohort sizes (compared to FIS or MIS) mean that Biology HL classes are intimate (12–20 students), allowing more lab time per student.
