A 4-month intensive USABO preparation cohort, starting 10–15 October 2026 and finishing in early February 2027 — so that preparation peaks exactly as the USABO Open Exam is sat, approximately February 2027. Tuition is $1,600 USD all-in. Live online, small batches, taught in US time zones.
Enrolment closes when the cohort starts. There is no separate registration or materials fee — USABO’s own entry fee is paid to your school, not to us.
CEE administers the USABO Open Exam at registered schools in approximately February 2027, and school registration for the 2027 cycle typically opens around November 2026. A cohort starting 10–15 October 2026 gives four clear months of coverage and timed practice before that exam, and has you fully prepared well before registration closes. Starting in December does not.

For the Open Exam, yes, if you already have solid high-school biology. The Open Exam is 50 multiple-choice questions in 50 minutes across all five domains, and four months of structured coverage with weekly timed mocks is a realistic runway. Students starting from a weaker base, or targeting the Semifinal and National Finals rather than just qualifying, are better served by the longer cohort on our USABO bootcamp page.
US high-school students in grades 9–12 entering the 2027 USABO cycle, including international students enrolled at US schools. If you are outside the US, your national olympiad is the equivalent route and we coach those separately.
The syllabus content is available free — Campbell Biology and past papers are not secrets. What four months of coached preparation buys is sequencing, timed practice under exam conditions, and somebody marking your answers and telling you why they were wrong. If you are disciplined enough to do that alone, you should.
Every session is recorded and available to the cohort. Classes are scheduled around the US school day, but a clash with a test or a match is not a reason to fall behind.
Most students preparing for one of these are eligible for the others. The routes overlap more than they look like they do.
