NSEB, INBO and the road to IBO — taught by a Biology-only faculty at our Sector 17 centre. Faridabad has NEET institutes in every sector and no Olympiad programme; this is the one.
The pathway: NSEB → INBO → OCSC → Team of 4 → IBO
NEET Biology is NCERT, tested for speed and recall. NSEB starts where NCERT stops. The paper is 60 multiple-choice questions · 216 marks · 120 minutes · negative marking — so a wrong answer costs you, and guessing between two plausible options is a losing strategy rather than a neutral one.
The reading is different too. Olympiad preparation runs on Campbell rather than on a NEET module, and the questions expect you to reason from a described experiment to a conclusion, not to recall which line of the textbook it came from. A student who is excellent at NEET Biology can sit NSEB and find almost nothing familiar in how it is asked.
That is the whole reason this page exists. Every institute in Faridabad will prepare you for NEET. None of them runs an Olympiad programme, so the default local advice is to attend NEET classes and hope the overlap carries you. It does not.

Enrolment 21 August – 14 September 2026, fee ₹300. Registration is through your school as an IAPT centre — this is the step Faridabad students most often miss, because a school that has never entered a candidate will not raise it.

Olympiad batches are small by necessity, so a live-online seat is available for students in Greater Faridabad and Ballabgarh who would rather not travel twice a week.

Not really. NEET Biology is NCERT tested for speed and recall; NSEB starts where NCERT stops, runs on Campbell-level material, and asks you to reason from an experiment rather than recall a line. It also carries negative marking, so the guess-between-two habit a NEET batch builds actively costs you marks.
Class 9 or 10 is ideal, because the reading list is long and the reasoning is unfamiliar. Class 12 or below on the qualifying date, within the IAPT age and residency rules for the season. A Class 11 or 12 student can still start, but the Campbell reading has to run alongside the board syllabus rather than after it.

Honest answer: about 300 students reach INBO nationally and 4 eventually go to IBO, so this is a selective route and nobody should promise a place. What the preparation reliably produces is a much stronger grasp of Biology than a NEET-only track gives — which is why students who sit NSEB tend to find NEET Biology straightforward afterwards.
