As the tricity hub for Punjab, Haryana and Himachal students, Chandigarh has one of north India's densest concentrations of academically strong schools — Sacred Heart, St. John's High School and the DAV network are among the best known (we are not affiliated with them). CBSE dominates here, which gives Chandigarh students a head start: NSEB's NCERT foundation is already familiar, and preparation time goes straight into Campbell-depth genetics, physiology and ecology. The city hosts IAPT exam centres, so students from Panchkula and Mohali also typically sit the paper here. Enrolment runs through schools or IAPT-registered centres in the August–September window.
