Missed a government seat? Both routes can make you a doctor in India. They differ a lot in cost, time and risk. Here they are side by side, with the numbers most agents leave out.
Abroad: About ₹15–50 lakh for the full course (tuition and hostel, as quoted by universities and agents)
Drop year: A government seat costs a small fraction of that; at AIIMS fees are a few thousand rupees a year
Abroad: None
Drop year: One year of preparation; our dropper batch starts at ₹82,600 including GST
Abroad: The FMGE. Only 23.94% of candidates passed the December 2025 session
Drop year: No FMGE for Indian graduates
Abroad: The local language (Russian, Georgian, Uzbek and others), learnt during the course
Drop year: Your own
Abroad: Starts now; about 6 years abroad, then the FMGE and an internship in India
Drop year: One extra year now, then the Indian MBBS with its own internship
Abroad: Failing the FMGE, a university that does not meet NMC rules, or an agent who misleads you
Drop year: A second attempt is not guaranteed to reach a seat
Foreign costs are typical quotes and vary by university; FMGE figures are from the NBEMS 2025 report. See FMGE pass rate by country.
Biology is 360 of NEET’s 720 marks, the largest and most predictable section, so it is where a focused year usually adds the most. A higher score also keeps MBBS abroad open as a backup, since that only needs a qualifying mark.
Small batches led by Dr. Shekhar C. Singh, AIIMS New Delhi alumnus, and his team. From ₹82,600 including GST.
No institute can guarantee a NEET seat. We do not arrange admissions abroad and take no commission from any university, so we have no reason to push you either way.
