Instead, your child joins live, small-group classes from home — anywhere in Texas — scheduled in Central Time (CT) evenings so the schedule matches Texas local time and leaves room for sports, band, and homework.
The wedge is honesty. A lot of Texas parents have seen the listicles pushing college-level Campbell textbooks and imaginary "USABO junior divisions" onto 11-year-olds. We do the opposite: an age-appropriate foundation that builds genuine curiosity and depth, plus correct guidance to the competitions a Texas middle schooler can actually enter today.
Middle schoolers do not compete in the USABO, the IBO, or the Brain Bee. Those are high-school competitions (grades 9-12), and there is no legitimate "junior" or "middle-school division" of the USABO — despite what some listicles and competitor pages claim.

What a Texas middle schooler CAN do is build a strong foundation now so they are genuinely ready to enter USABO as a 9th-grader. That foundation-first approach is exactly what this program is designed for.
